Donate to local schools with @Staples and @StaplesCanada X @LadyGaga

  • Company:  Staples
  • Cause: Education, Mental Wellness, Positive Environments, Community
  • Organizations – US: Born This Way Foundation,
  • Organizations – Canada: Local Schools and Organizations by store location
  • Year: 2017

As Staples is a major sponsor of Lady Gaga’s latest tour in the US, they partnered together along with other organizations to donate $2 million on the mission to create positive classroom experiences.

Back in late June, Lady Gaga surprised a classroom of middle school students in LA to promote the cause of supporting education and positivity in this latest campaign.

In the US, there were many opportunities to choose which schools to support with Staples and Lady Gaga’s foundation, in-hand with contests to enter to win a scholarship. Continuing forward, the Born This Way Foundation along with founder Lady Gaga will be going world-wide to spread kindness everywhere through The Channel Kindness tour.

In Canada, Lady Gaga lends her image and support for a parallel back-to-school campaign. The “Staples School Supply Drive” campaign is a way for Canadians to donate online or in-store to support various local educational organizations.

Online, there is a list of partnerships between charities and organizations that a specific store location supports. Using the Store Locator, I found the following local stores (as of August 10th, 2017) in BC that support the following charities and organizations:
